In The Night
The first few hundreds nights with our newborn(s) can feel long, lonely and exhausting. Feeding, burping, soothing, changing, cuddling, swaddling... So many acts of care carried out in solitude, often unseen and unacknowledged.
This project brings those moments into the light. It honours the courage and vulnerability of new parents, captures the connection in the dark and makes it matter.
CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS / ONGOING PROJECT
If you have a newborn, and whether you’re breastfeeding, bottle feeding, expressing, soothing or changing your little one(s) at night, I’m interested in capturing those acts of care and connection. By participating, you will get some free, beautiful and unique shots of you and your baby(-ies), and will be part of a wider photography series that sheds a light on that forgotten part of raising a child.
